Top 5 Eco Gift Ideas

The last in the series of gift ideas, this one is about bigger presents for family and friends. I’ve tried to cover different age groups and price brackets so hopefully you can find something useful.

Let’s start with the youngest!

If you are looking for low waste (or no waste), practical but fun ideas for babies and toddlers then why not get them a gorgeous swim nappy! These nappies are super easy for the grown-ups to use too, so you’ll be making them happy! You will also be helping to save some serious amount of plastic from being thrown into landfill and rotting for hundreds of years. Pair them with a voucher for the local pool or money toward a swimming lesson and you’ll have a great present! If your budget will stretch further then why not look at adding a wet bag or change mat too as this make a trip to the pool so much easier and more comfortable!

For slightly older children you could treat them to one of the beautiful (and oh so delicious) gift sets from PlayIn Choc. These sets come with 6 treat boxes each containing 2 small pieces of chocolate, a fact card and a beautiful pop out cardboard toy. They can have their very own collection of Christmas characters or Rabbits!

If you want to steer away from a lot chocolate then the kids eco kit is a great compromise. Just one of the treat boxes mentioned above plus a pack of beebombs, a soap and a bamboo toothbrush. And all for only £15.

If you are buying for an older teenager you could consider getting them a reusable razor as this would set them up for life! Put together a shaving bundle with a razor, soap and blade disposal tin and it would be a fabulous eco present!

Alternatively you could get them an out and about set with a sandwich wrap, straw and some bamboo cutlery!

For the adults there are so many options! Take a look at the gift section of the website and you will find pre-made gift sets, DIY Wax Wrap Kits and more. You can also build your own sets with candles, chocolates, soaps, wash mitts or wax wraps and loofah cleaning products. The lists are endless.

If you are struggling to put something together then send me a message or email with your budget and details of the recipient and I will put some ideas together for you!
